After a short break my last journey for the 'in door shows' began on Monday, 20 March, again at the airport Dortmund to catch the flight to Milan in Italy. From Milan i took a train and went to Verona for the first show from three in a row.
In the morning at the next day, Tuesday, i walked down to the city and the ‘legendary’ arena from Verona for a short sightseeing tour, but i was excited as always and walked to the venue and did what i did most of the time during my personal Simple Minds tour. I went to the venue to wait in front of closed door! But at this time it was ok. It was already springtime in Italy, and it was easy to wait. Here in Italy i haven’t seen many familiar faces, but in the end i met the both Paola’s.
For the shows in Italy there wasn’t a support band and the Minds changed the Intro, it was more faster and sounds a little bit like a special mix in techno version, but i don’t know the name or band from the intro-song. It wasn’t a Minds song.
I found again a place in the middle of the front row and was happy and excited like each time! :-)
The Minds came up on stage and the crowd welcomed them very warm and enthusiastic.
It was a good show, as each show from the Minds is, but i can’t remember more details now.
