In the morning i drove by train from Verona to Pordenone. I like travelling by car much more than travelling by train, but for this nearly 3 hours it was ok. I had a lot of music with me, i had good memories from the last show and the know that at the end of this travelling there would be the next show! So everything was ok! Pordenone is not as big as Verona and i decide to went by feet to my hotel. It was a sunny midday in Italy, so why not?! A nice jung Italian Lady showed me the way at my bad printed map and after 15 minutes later i was in the hotel. Because of having a sandwich in the train it was to early for the next meal and i went to the venue. Hey, i was not the first one, Paola and some of her Colleagues from work were already there. So it was another easy and nice waiting time.
Maybe at 6 o’clock the band startet with the soundcheck and there was a door with a round window thru which we could see the Minds. But after a while the security checked out what we did in front of the door and so they closed the windows with something black! But they could not closed our ears and so we could still listened to the soundcheck. :-)
They played ‘Stay Visible’, ‘Hunter And The Hunted’; ‘Banging On The Door’ (!), two times ‘She Is A River’, ‘Dolphins’ and ‘Black & White’! I was surprised with ‘Banging On The Door’ and ‘She Is A River’, but the don’t played them at the gig. What’s a pity, i love them both!
And like mostly I found a place in the middle of the first row again! For me the minds were in Pordenone a little bit more relaxed, they had fun on stage, were more ‘free’ and without that pressure they maybe had in Verona. That’s my point of view. The band was in a very good mood and they changed the setlist again. instead of ‘Factory’ they played ‘Hunter And The Hunted’ and instead of ‘Underneath The Ice’ they played ‘A Life Shot In Black & White’. It was a brilliant show and the whole traveling I did worth it, and more than 100 percent!!
