After the show in Gelsenkirchen my next gig was again in Luxemburg in “Den Atelier”, the smallest venue of the tour. But the atmosphere there is always great.
I was there very early and saw the band arriving at the venue and later i found a place in the middle of the second row. But the venue is so small that maybe the crowd in the fifth row were thinking they had a place in the first row! ;-)
And the band and crowd were ...
incredible!!
It was a very good gig and the Minds added one more song at the setlist.
They played at last 20 songs. A whole set like they did during the indoor shows!!! WOW
“Sleeping Girl”, “Underneath The Ice” and “Seeing Out The Angel” reached again to the setlist!!!
And JK “celebrate again “The Jeweller II” with me, this is a big fun, he always pick up one of the crowd and sing the song with him/her, and at this time, it was me again, which he picked up! And i And i loved it, for sure! :-)
I only can say, if the Minds would be there once again, go for a ticket very quick to see the Simple Minds playing in this small venue, you never will forget or regret your decision to be there for a Simple Minds show!!!!! It is incredible. It is wonderful! It is beautiful!!
After the 2-hour show we all waited outside to catch the band for an picture. We met Eddie, Charlie and Mark but Mel and Jim were missing. After hours, we quit waiting and went home (in this case, my home was a hotel room).
But i got the autograph at my ticket from Eddie, Charlie and Mark and all of them were in a friendly mood to post for a picture.
And during this time, Vivane from Belgium became the one and only “Groupie” for MT!!!!!! Aren’t you?
Waiting in a beautiful and warm night with the right people, or can i say “friends”? is always funny. We did of lot of silly things and it was a big fun! - Thank you Viviane, Lore, Paola, Mark, Olivier, and all the other. It was a great time with all of you and another great experience in sign of the SIMPLE MINDS!!!! :-)
