After the show in Bremen i drove home by car, because it’s only 1,5 h from my hometown. Hannover it’s only 1 hour to drive. So it was another easy journey for me to go to the next show. In February this year it was very cold here in Germany and in Hannover too. To got another place in the first row i was very early at the venue and there i met the “other early birds”. I know the venue very well, because many other bands has played there (i don’t know why, it’s not the best venue) and waiting there at cold and windy day is really terrible, but that's the prize for the first row. So we were waiting hour after hour and we all getting cold. But it had worth and we all got 'our' place in the front row!
Doris, Sandra and Tina had done a big sign for Jim with some German sentences because he had asked the night before for language teaching. And he got a big smile in his face when he noted these posters.
The Minds were in a good mood, as usual, and had a lot of fun onstage, and Jim jumped and danced during the whole show. I know, why I like the Simple Minds so much. They give always 110% onstage, and everything is perfect. Maybe sometimes they are a little tired from touring, but if they are onstage and have played the first song, they get back all their energy and lose their tiredness. They do always a perfect show in a perfect way. WOW i really love it, to be one of the crowd of a Simple Minds show!
