SOMEONE SOMEWHERE IN SUMMERTIME

Bremen was first concert of the German leg, and I had the luck that I could be present at a short 'Meet and Greet' with Jim Kerr. It was an official “Meet & Greet” for winner from NRD2 (radio show), an I was there with Tina, Sandra, Doris, Oliver and his girlfriend (Nova_Heart) and Jim smiled and said: “aah, familiar faces” as he saw us! He is really a very nice and friendly guy, and he signed all the things the fans gave him, and he smiled in all the cameras for nice pictures for the fans. Unfortunately the photo with Jim, Tina and me aren’t that good, but hey, it’s a nice reminder!

After the very short five minutes we went back, and i got back again my place in the middle of the front row, because Joachim from Sweden saved this place for me. Thanks again, Joachim!
For the German leg the Simple Minds shortened their show by a song, they “only” played 21 songs, but it was beautiful as well!
Jim apologized that he can’t speak german very well and that he needs a teacher, but everyone knows, that Jim don’t talk much onstage and his “let me see your hands” or “everything ok” (in Germany he said: “Alles gut?!”) it’s understood in every part of the world, I think! :)

After seeing the Minds five times in my opinion they gets better and better. And you could see, that they really enjoyed it to be back onstage again. They played each song very enthusiastically and with power that you can't believe it, marvellous!!!
